Upcoming Price Increases to Sustain and Enhance Leisure Services
As part of our commitment to maintaining high-quality facilities and services, Leisure Lifestyle will be increasing prices across all sport and leisure services, effective April 1st, 2025.
In light of increasing operational costs and the significant financial challenges faced by Caerphilly County Borough Council, including a projected £45 million budget shortfall over the next three years, we will be introducing changes to our pricing structure. These increases will vary depending on the service and will affect all aspects of our provision, including memberships, Learn 2 Swim programmes, sports camps, and facility hire.
We remain dedicated to our vision of encouraging healthy lifestyles, ensuring that our residents continue to benefit from high quality, value for money opportunities to stay active and engaged.
Cllr. Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:
“These increases are essential to ensure we can continue delivering high-quality sport and leisure services for residents across the borough. We are committed to reinvesting in our facilities, providing opportunities for people of all ages to stay active, and ensuring that our services remain accessible and sustainable for the future.”
This necessary increase will allow Leisure Lifestyle to reinvest in our facilities and further our goal of getting more people, more active, more often in line with our Sport and Active Recreation Strategy. Our vision is to encourage healthy lifestyles and support our residents to lead active lives, by providing varied, attractive, and accessible opportunities.
We greatly appreciate the continued support of our members and the community. Your commitment helps us sustain and improve the services we provide, ensuring we can meet the needs of everyone who uses our facilities.
